How to Self Publish

I wrote an article The Self-Publishing Dream in the June/July 2012 issue of Her Business Magazine, which tells the process of publishing our first book.  What we thought would be really helpful for anyone interested in how-to self publish is to have a blog actually showing you how we self-publish.

“How did you self publish?” – We’ve sold over 2000 My Little Geek books since August 2011, so, Andrew and I get asked this question quite a lot.  My one line response is usually – “You just do it.”

Andrew is a tech guru who is in-the-know about what is happening in the tech industry.  His latest, I’m tired quote “I can only do easy stuff like building websites.”  I’m a qualified primary teacher who is critically evaluates whether something has a social or educational benefit for my children.  So in this process we both use our strengths to market and self-publish our book.

The two books we are currently working on are Nerdy Numbers and Sci-Fi Shapes.
